DIY: Pan Collar Necklace

Forget about detachable collars — this one’s as detachable and as adjustable as they can get. I was hesitant to do anything pan-related because it’s very trendy. But making a basic collar necklace won’t hurt. It isn’t as in-your-face as the detachable collars we saw so rampant just a few months ago, which now has actually become annoying.

Doing the Pan Collar Necklace is fairly easy. Took me about 1 and a half hours, with a few Facebook and a lot of sweet coffee breaks in between.

I used a leatherette fabric and black thread.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Fabric scraps.
  • Paper and pencil
  • Heavy Duty scissors
  • 11 and 1/2 inches of chain + lock (any kind will do)
  • 4 pcs.
  • Needle and Thread

HOW YOU DO IT:

And, voila! You’re very own DIY Pan Collar Necklace! You can adjust the length of your chain if you’d like, just add on to the existing one. As for me, I’m very satisfied with it. It’s the first DIY/craft I’m really happy about! Also, colored my hair a few weeks back and I’m loving it.
